You will need:
Pot, hand blender
Ingredients for the French dressing
For 6 servings, 1 serving = approx. 50 g (1 g of sugar)
1 clove garlic
½ onion
100 ml water
2 g vegetable stock
5 tbsp vinegar, e.g. balsamic vinegar dark
1 tbsp mustard
6 g sugar
50 ml canola oil
100 g sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1:
Cut 1 clove of garlic and half an onion into small cubes. Put 100 ml of water and 2 g of vegetable stock into a pot with the garlic and onion cubes, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Add 5 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of mustard, 6 g of sugar, and 50 ml of canola oil. Bring the mixture to a boil again.
Step 3:
Allow everything to cool down a bit, then add 100 g of sour cream. Puree everything in a tall container and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4:
Pour the French dressing into a container and refrigerate. It will keep for about 1 week.
