You will need
Food processor (hand blender), tall measuring cup, jar
Ingredients for the strawberry and chia spread
For 10 servings, 1 serving = 25 g (4 g of sugar)
200 g fresh strawberries
40 g powdered sugar
20 g chia seeds
If this recipe is not sweet enough for you, feel free to add more sugar. Just remember to track the amount. If this recipe is too sweet for you, you can of course reduce or skip the amount.
Preparation
Step 1:
Wash 200 g of strawberries, pat them dry, remove the green tops, and cut into pieces.
Step 2:
Add the strawberry pieces and 40 g of powdered sugar to a measuring cup and puree with a food processor. Add 20 g of chia seeds and stir with a spoon.
Step 3:
Pour the strawberry and chia spread into a jar and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
The spread will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
