You will need:
Baking tray, baking paper
Ingredients for the spicy nut mix
For 5 servings, 1 serving = approx. 40 g (0 g of sugar)
200 g mixed nuts and seeds, e.g. peanuts, walnuts, pumpkin seeds
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp curry powder
0.5 tsp paprika powder, sweet
2 tbsp canola oil
Optional:
chili powder, onion powder, smoked paprika to taste
Preparation
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Put 200 g of nuts and seeds in a bowl and season with ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of curry powder, ½ tsp of paprika powder, and optionally with chili powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to taste. Finally, add 2 tbsp of canola oil and mix everything well.
Step 2:
Put the mix evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 180 degrees. To ensure that everything is roasted evenly, turn it over 2 to 3 times in the oven.
Step 3:
Remove the tray from the oven and let the spicy nut mix cool down.
The spicy nut mix is a great snack for parties, movie nights, or as a snack whenever you feel like a quick bite. In a well-sealed container, the spicy nut mix will keep for several weeks.
