You will need:
Pot, hand blender
Ingredients for the cocktail dressing
For 8 servings, 1 serving = approx. 50 g (1 g of sugar)
1 clove garlic
1 piece of onion
100 ml water
5 g vegetable stock
50 ml milk
2 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp vinegar, e.g. balsamic vinegar dark
8 g sugar
2 tbsp canola oil
100 g sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1:
Cut 1 clove of garlic and 1 onion into small cubes. Put 100 ml of water and 5 g of vegetable stock with the garlic and onion cubes in a pot and let simmer without the lid for about 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Add 50 ml milk, 2 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tbsp vinegar, 8 g sugar and 2 tbsp canola oil and bring everything to the boil. Then leave to cool for a few minutes.
Step 3:
Add 100 g sour cream and puree with a hand blender in a tall container. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4:
Fill the cocktail dressing into a jar of your choice and place it in the fridge. It will keep in the fridge for about 5 days.
