You will need
Pot, food blender or food processor, 1 small glass
Ingredients for the plum compote
For 1 glas (approximately 500 g), 1 serving = 100 g (5 g of sugar)
500 g ripe plums
1 level tsp cinnamon
25 g brown sugar
If this recipe is not sweet enough for you, feel free to add more sugar.
Just remember to track the amount.
Preparation
Step 1:
Wash, pit, and quarter 500 g of plums.
Step 2:
Add the chopped plums to a pot and heat over medium heat until they release their juices. Stir regularly.
Step 3:
Add 1 level tsp of cinnamon and 25 g of brown sugar, stir to combine, cover with a lid, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Stir regularly.
Step 4:
Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly. Then, using a food blender or food processor, blend the plum compote until it is still slightly chunky.
Step 5:
Transfer to a clean jar and serve.
Use a tall container for blending.
Stored in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator, the plum compote will keep for about 7 days.
